Hi, I'm Tania, a Trauma Informed Therapist with a specialty in Mind Body Medicine . I am passionate about helping people find balance and clarity in their lives by guiding them through mindfulness, self-awareness and stress reduction strategies to create a supportive space where healing feels practical, purposeful and sustainable. Nourishing the self is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Therefore, I believe in integrating traditional counseling with mind-body practices tailored to your unique needs. I offer a deep understanding of what contributes to our emotional, physical and mental health via education and awareness of the mind-body connection and how thoughts contribute to physical stress, impacting the health and function of the brain and the nervous system. My multi-modal approach invites you to embrace your uniqueness and create a sense of balance and stability. Offering a person-centered experience , my goal is to help you thrive in life by deepening your ability to manage life’s ebbs and flows with intention and confidence. Think of me as your guide to navigating your flow of life, with a mix of evidence based therapy, mindfulness and practical tools to support you in achieving meaningful and lasting growth. With a background that blends professional training and personal insight, I bring a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to my work. Some of the my commonly used therapies include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Somatic Experiencing, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Yoga Therapy and Expressive Therapy. As a counselor with both civilian and military experience, I bring a unique perspective to my work, understanding the diverse challenges faced by individuals in different walks of life. My practice is open to individuals of all genders and age groups, rooted in a commitment to inclusivity and understanding. Everyone deserves compassionate care and I adapt my techniques to support children, teens, adults and older adults on their journey towards greater well-being. “As you start to walk on the way, the way appears." - Rumi
