Meghan Braley, LMHC
Beverly Office - Clinician
Licensed in MA
Meghan works with young adults and adults, providing them with high-quality mental health support. Her clients generally face difficulty managing their anxiety, leading to heightened stress throughout the day. This anxiety and stress can impact their relationships, and often Meghan’s clients resort to appeasing behaviors that drain them of energy. They want to reduce the impact of their anxiety on their lives, turning to therapy as a way of taking care of themselves.
Meghan’s approach to therapy emphasizes the role of the mind-body connection, which can be helpful to decrease the interruption of mental health symptoms as well as healing childhood wounds or other ingrained traumas. Clients learn how to regulate their nervous systems and honor the various sensations and emotions that arise during their conversations with Meghan. She practices Polyvagal Theory and has a certification in this therapy approach from The Polyvagal Institute.
Meghan earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England, specializing in trauma counseling. She enjoys working with those who are seeking greater clarity in their lives and those open to deep transformation. She strives to empower clients to take charge of their lives and to engage in effective self-care practices.
