Militza Cajigas is a highly experienced bilingual therapist with over 13 years of clinical experience providing exceptional mental health care to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master’s degree in Psychology (MPSY) and is widely recognized for her depth of clinical skill, cultural competence, and ability to create powerful, lasting therapeutic change.

Militza specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and complex life transitions. She has extensive experience working with high-acuity clients, including individuals navigating generational trauma, immigration-related stress, grief, identity issues, and chronic emotional distress. Her approach is trauma-informed, emotionally attuned, and evidence-based, integrating CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing to meet each client where they are.

As a bilingual clinician, Militza plays a vital role in expanding access to quality mental health care for Spanish-speaking and underserved communities. She is deeply committed to equity in care and is known for creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal.
